Cultural Resource Management: Services
Our experienced team can support land managers and farmers in their stewardship of heritage sites. We can develop or enhance data record systems, site management plans, interpretation schemes and condition monitoring systems.
Land managers are increasingly required to assess their holdings so that they have a sound comprehension of the heritage resource within their stewardship. This information can be used to inform the appropriateness of new or altered land use and to ensure that inadvertent damage is not caused from working the land.
In addition, we have experience in the provision of baseline studies and advice on land management within agri-environment schemes. In this context we can provide either whole farm or individual site specific management plans examining the differing pressures impacting on the heritage sites and identifying routes for their stabilisation and enhancement.
