In line with planning guidance, developers and/or their agents are strongly recommended to discuss potential archaeological issues at an early stage. Should you have a forthcoming development that may have archaeological consequences please contact the Archaeology Service to discuss the matter.
We can provide information for inclusion in planning applications. A charge will be made to developers, land managers and/or their agents to meet the cost in staff time for the extraction of data. If you wish to make a commercial enquiry on a specific site or area you should contact the Archaeology Service.
