Management Planning
The built heritage must be managed and maintained if there is to be the ability for future generations to understand, appreciate and benefit from it. The development of management or conservation plan provides a useful tool to assist those with responsibility for individual parts of the built heritage to consider the needs of their site.
We are experienced in the development of management or conservation plans both for individual and groups of sites. This can be delivered through the traditional stand-alone conservation plan which contains assessment and analysis of significance and needs, followed by an action plan.
Alternatively, where several sites are involved across an estate or land holding, we can integrate heritage information and action plans into the established management systems, such as a corporate GIS system.
